About

Major Inspiration
My name is Ara Parikh and I’m a high school student who wants to make sure the curable and preventable killer disease, malaria, is eradicated by 2015 by terms of the Millenium Goals. I became involved with the wonderful, awesome, and phenomenal Malaria No More after I read The End of Poverty by economist Jeffrey Sachs, a profound book that for one, outlined the economic possibilities available after health dilemmas in developing countries (like malaria) are thwarted. (Great read by the way)
I’ve created this blog with the purpose of establishing a local (or hopefully larger) interface to share my involvement in fighting malaria and contributing to the goals of Malaria No More. This blog is intended to solicit helpful suggestions and feedback while also serving to document my work. In addition to the Malaria No More Committee (made up of my school friends- the best committee members one could ask for), this blog will serve as our idea tank- hence the blog’s title, Collective Solution.
Thanks for taking a look and please leave your comments!

The net is actually larger than what is shown.

I think the work Malaria No More is doing is really great, and the work you’re doing to help them is superb.
